MIL-DTL-38999 connectors, previously known as MIL-C-38999, are available in four primary MIL Type connectors: Series I, II, III, and IV. Series I connectors are used for quick disconnect coupling systems required for blind and difficult mating areas. Series II connectors feature a lower profile to support high vibration and critical environment applications. Series III connectors support high vibration suitable for blinding mating areas with elevated temperatures. Series IV connectors are used for quick disconnect coupling systems required for blind and difficult mating areas.
