LoRaWAN Network Architecture
What is the LoRaWAN® Specification?
The LoRaWAN® specification is a low-power wide-area (LPWA) networking protocol designed to wirelessly connect battery operated devices to the internet. LoRaWAN® operates in regional, national or global networks, and targets key Internet of Things (IoT) requirements such as bi-directional communication, end-to-end security, mobility, and localization services.
The LoRaWAN® protocol utilizes a global standard that makes it easy to integrate with existing infrastructures, while offering high security and affordability. Common applications can be found in agriculture, buildings, industry, logistics, and utilities.
