Vishay Vishay ST Series Wet Tantalum Capacitors
Vishay SuperTan (ST) Series Wet Tantalum Capacitors with Hermetic Seal are high-capacitance devices with a cathode system that provides high capacitance per unit volume. The ST tantalum capacitors design facilitates a doubling of capacitance, lower ESR, and higher ripple current ratings compared to conventional wet tantalum capacitors. These ST capacitors have the capacitance stability of a solid tantalum capacitor with no circuit impedance restrictions. These tantalum capacitors are housed in tantalum, hermetically sealed cases, and are manufactured to withstand hazardous environments. SuperTan capacitors are widely used in the defense and aerospace industries.
