TE Connectivity's AMPMODU 2mm connector family gives you a wide range of design options and space-saving flexibility, including board-to-board and wire-to-board breakaway headers with a centerline of 2mm (0.079") that frees up almost 38 percent of space used by standard 2.54mm (0.1") centerline connectors.

AMPMODU also offers 1mm Small Centerline Interconnects, ideal in severe shock and vibration environments, that feature 85 percent space savings compared to 2.54mm pitch products, as well as the MTE Interconnect System, which is utilized in wire-to-board and wire-to-wire applications and implements insulation displacement contacts (IDC) or crimp snap-in contacts to suit customer needs.

AMPMODU 2mm Board-to-Board Receptacles

Temperature-resistant AMPMODU receptacles work with automated surface-mount, through-hole-reflow and traditional through-hole mounting processes. Available top- and dual-entry vertical and horizontal receptacles give you multiple header/receptacle combinations and options for board-to-board stacking.

AMPMODU Breakaway Headers

These high-reliability breakaway headers are intermateable with most receptacles from major brands on the market today. Their dual-beam design gives you increased contact surface between the header pin and the receptacle contact for reliable signal transfer. AMPMODU's phosphor bronze contacts with dual cantilever beams come with three available gold-plating options.

AMPMODU 2mm Wire-to-Board Crimp Receptables

Occupying 38 percent less space on a PCB than traditional 2.54 mm [0.100”] centerline connectors, TE Connectivity’s Wire-to-Board Crimp Receptacle family includes standard and detent latching housing styles along with contacts for wire ranges 30 - 24AWG [0.05 - 0.22 mm2]. Highly versatile and reliable, they provide exceptional performance in high vibration environments.

IDC Receptacles

These Wire-to-Board IDC Receptacles come with pre-loaded discrete wire insulation displacement contacts (IDC), enabling fast termination without the need to strip the wire, and provide 38 percent PCB space savings compared to traditional 2.54mm centerline connectors. The interchangeable IDC and crimp snap-in contacts allow for the easy replacement of damaged or faulty contacts.

These fine pitch 1.0mm connectors deliver 85 percent space saving on the board when compared to standard 2.54mm pitch products. They include dual-beam contact design for a sturdy, dependable electrical connection in severe shock/vibration environments and serve a broad range of design requirements with up to 100 positions with two plating options.

AMPMODU MTE Interconnect System

AMPMODU MTE Connectors can be used in wire-to-board and wire-to-wire applications. Their assembly designs offer latching and polarization and coupling shrouds permit ganging of receptable assemblies for double row configurations. They are ideally suited for computers, copiers, commercial printers, appliances, medical equipment and automotive controls.
