Molex EXTreme PowerEdge Connectors
Molex EXTreme PowerEdge Connectors are one-piece vertical card edge connectors that work with gold finger PC boards or as busbar interconnects for power supply and distribution. These connectors have a low-profile design suitable for use in limited space. The EXTreme PowerEdge connectors are offered in power-only, signal-only, or combined power/signal configurations. These PowerEdge connectors are intended for applications requiring a single-piece mating interface.
EXTreme PowerEdge Connectors are compact card edge connectors rated at 40A per contact, with options to include both power and signal pins in the same housing. These connectors have terminal contacts with redundant interface points for double-sided card edge gold fingers or busbar segments, providing 157A per inch of board space. Configurations are available for AC, DC, or both within a single housing or multiple housings arranged end-to-end. Typical applications include telecommunications, networking equipment, and DC-DC converters.
