Molex CP Connectors
Molex CP Connectors are available in a wide variety of housing colors and have polarization keys on the housing rib to eliminate mis-mating. They are available in pitches of 2.50mm, 3.30mm, 4.50mm, and 6.50mm. These connectors have retainers to ensure that crimped terminals are fully inserted into the housing, which prevents moisture from entering the connector. There is also an inertia lock feature on the housing to ensure a complete, low-insertion force lock, which provides a tactile circuit number and an audible "click". Additionally, the connectors are glow-wire capable.
CP-2.5 Mini 2.50mm Wire-to-Wire Connectors
Molex CP-2.5 Mini 2.50mm Wire-to-Wire Connectors have a 2.5mm pitch and provide space-savings in a compact design. They also have terminal position assurance (TPA) to ensure that wires are fully inserted. Applications include consumer/home appliances such as white goods and water heaters, and industrial/industrial automation such as HVAC, copiers, and vending machines.
CP-3.3 Wire-to-Wire Connectors
Molex CP-3.3 Wire-to-Wire Connectors are available in single-row and dual-row configurations and have housing ribs between each cavity of the mated housings which increase creepage and clearance distances to prevent arcing when there is moisture or other contaminants. They are 3.30mm pitch with TPA retainers. Applications include industrial automation, consumer goods, automotive, and medical.
CP-4.5 Wire-to-Wire Connectors
Molex CP-4.5 Wire-to-Wire Connectors have an integral beam that supports both ends of the connector housing to prevent wire-snagging. These environmentally friendly connectors are halogen-free at a 4.50mm pitch. Additionally, they have a raised housing block on the adjacent sides of the housing to prevent wire-snagging under the latch during harness manufacturing and storage. Common applications include consumer goods such as washing machines, water heaters, and air conditioners, and industrial goods such as HVAC systems, copiers, vending machines, power suppliers and UPS, and wire-to-device.
CP-6.5 Wire-to-Board and Wire-to-Wire Connectors
Molex CP-6.5 Wire-to-Board and Wire-to-Wire Connectors have 260°C wave/reflow soldering capable headers to prevent mis-mating, which causes electrical shorts. They are available with right-angle or vertical headers, have a positive lock, and have raised housing blocks on the adjacent sides. These 6.50mm pitch connectors are available with 2, 4, and 6 circuits with surface mount or through-hole mounting styles. Applications include consumer/home appliances and industrial/industrial automation.
