SEACON HUMMER Series
This unique, ultra miniature design incorporates the proven characteristics of some of our popular connectors in a smaller, rugged and reliable package. The contacts are gold plated and range from 28 awg, 0.10 amp to 22 awg, 1.50 amp sizes and are rated to 10,000 psi mated. The bulkhead connector consists of a metal shell with molded GRE (Glass Reinforced Epoxy) inserts which are all supplied pigtailed and back potted. The cable connector is molded in neoprene to standard or custom cable lengths upon request. This design makes for a rugged, economical connector. -
SEACON Rubber Molded (RM) Series
Our standard Rubber Molded Series typically consists of an in-line female neoprene connector mated to a glass reinforced epoxy (XS) bulkhead connector. Various sizes are available ranging from single contact connectors up through 12 contact connectors. Most are available with pins and sockets reversed to help prevent mismating of connectors, which otherwise look identical. This also allows for socket type contacts in a connector where there is a possibility of a "power-on" situation. Many of the bulkhead type connectors are available in 316 Stainless Steel, and can also be manufactured of any of the exotic metals. Male in-line connectors round out the series allowing for in-line mated sets not requiring bulkhead penetration. In addition, the WOC (without cable) type connectors allow for field installation in the event that a connector is damaged while at sea and needs replacing, or for long cable lengths that make cable transportation cost prohibitive. -
SEACON All-Wet Series
SEACON's ALL-WET connector series was developed to provide inexpensive yet reliable rubber molded connectors that allow the user to make and break connections both on the surface and underwater. -
SEACON 55 Series
This series of underwater electrical connectors has design features superior to other industry standard connectors, whilst remaining compatible and interchangeable with them. The 55 SERIES of dry-mate connectors are available in 5 shell sizes and are manufactured from 316L Stainless Steel as standard, although other materials such as Titanium, Aluminum Bronze and Alloy 625 are also available as options. -
SEACON Micro Wet-Con Series
The Micro WET-CON connector series was developed to provide all the features of SEACON’s ALL-WET connector series, but in a miniature, industry standard configuration. The small size offers the same flexibility and reliability as our rubber molded connectors, in a light-weight and user friendly model. The Micro WET-CON series allows for smaller through ports in a pressure vessel and a greater density of conductors in a compact area. The smaller cables decrease the overall weight and drag of an ROV or other vessel. This connector range is wet-mateable and therefore enables connections to be made underwater, on-deck or in any weather condition.
