OHMITE HS Series Wirewound Resistors
OHMITE HS Series Wirewound Resistors are aluminum-housed resistors with an industrial/commercial grade axial terminal that maintains the same materials, construction, and manufacturing techniques as the Mil-R-18546 approved 89 Series. The HS series complement the military-grade 89 Series as a lower-cost alternative with an added feature of larger available sizes (100W and 250W). The complete welded construction of the HS Series provides high stability at conventional power ratings. These resistors are made with an aluminum hard anodic coating and a ceramic core. These devices are recommended for higher volume applications such as inrush limiters, inverters, and converters.
