Bourns PWR Series Power Resistors
Bourns PWR Series Power Resistors are high-power thick film resistors and are available in surface mount TO-163 and TO-263 (DPAK and D2PAK), and radial leaded through holes TO-220 and TO-247. These compact packages are used as standards by semiconductor manufacturers that offer designers space savings and a variety of additional standardized off-the-shelf accessories, such as thermal and mounting devices. The PWR low-inductance resistors are suitable for most types of soldering processes and are electrically isolated from the backplate. The PWR series comes with 1% and 5% tolerances, and operate from -55°C to +155/175°C temperature ranges. These components are ideal for high-frequency applications such as current limiting, heaters, snubber circuits, and rectifiers.
