Bourns Metal Oxide Varistors
Bourns Metal Oxide Varistors (MOVs) protect against overvoltage transients such as lightning, power contact, and power induction. The MOVs are available in 7mm, 10mm, 14mm, and 20mm diameters. The radial leaded varistors feature high current handling, high energy absorption capability, and fast response times to protect against transient faults up to rated limits. These MOVs offer voltage ranges from 18V to 1800V with a rated power range from 0.25W to 1W. Typical applications include power supplies, power systems, line voltage, telecom systems, white goods, and appliances.
