Bourns GDT35 Series Gas Discharge Tube Arrestors
Bourns GDT35 Series Gas Discharge Tube (GDT) Arrestors are designed using advanced computer simulation techniques. The GDT35 Series 3-Electrode GDT arrestors significantly improve protection from voltage transients caused by lightning or accidental contact with AC power lines. These GDT35 Series GDT arrestors offer low capacitance and low insertion loss, making them an ideal solution for protecting industrial communications equipment. The GDT35 3-Electrode GDT arrestors can operate within the temperature range from -55°C to +125°C at an arc voltage of 10V. These arrestors are optimal choice for applications that must operate in stressful environmental conditions such as industrial communications, video surveillance systems, and current limited AC or DC power lines.

As awkward as it may be, there is nothing wrong with a bit of gas discharge. However, there is nothing awkward about the range of Bourns GDT35 surge arrestors, which helps to protect your critical electronics from sudden high voltage spikes. The use of a specialized inert gas sealed in a tube enables the GDT35 to conduct electricity after a specific voltage threshold has been reached between 75V to 600V, and this can be used to divert high voltage spikes away from sensitive electronics. The GDT35 range has a nominal impulse discharge current of 10kA, an operating temperature range of -55°C to +125°C, and measures just 5mm x 7.2mm. As such, the GDT35 range is perfect for protecting top boxes, industrial communication systems, HVAC controls, and antennae.
