Bourns AV Series Automotive Grade Varistors
Bourns AV Series Automotive Grade Varistors offer excellent transient energy distribution that enables a broad range of current and energy handling capabilities. These varistors are non-sensitive to mildly activated fluxes and have a non-plastic coating for a better flammability rating. The AV series varistors are AEC-Q200 rated, which provides excellent resistance to stress and significantly requires less space and pad area. The AV varistors operate within a temperature range from -55°C to +125°C and a transient load dump energy range from 1J to 50J. Typical applications include airbag control systems, direct ignition systems, and wiper motors.
