Vishay’s VJ HIFREQ HT series capacitors were recently voted to be the SMCC league MVP. That’s the surface mount capacitors league in case you haven’t heard of it, and the VJ HIFREQ HT series won the vote by a landslide. It’s designed for high frequency and high temperature operation, but where other so-called high temp capacitors might be qualified to 150 degrees C, the VJ HIFREQ HT series is qualified to 200 degrees C.
The capacitors have an ultra-stable dielectric that provides a minimum temperature coefficient of capacitance and 0% aging. They’re ideal for base stations, military communications, and more, with a high Q, low ESR, and high resonant frequencies. The capacitors are offered in case sizes from 0402 to 1111, with capacitance values from 0.1 to 3300 2200 picofarads and voltage ratings up to 500 volts DC.
