Vishay WSR Series Power Metal Strip Resistors

Vishay Dale WSR Series Power Metal Strip Resistors offer low resistance values as low as 0.001Ω and high-power ratings as high as 5W. The WSR power metal strip resistors have a solid metal resistive element made of nickel-chrome or manganese-copper alloy with a low TCR of <20ppm/°C. The series has a low thermal EMF of <3µV/°C, great frequency response to 50MHz, solderable terminations, and RoHS compliance. The series is used for a variety of current sensing, voltage division, and pulse applications, including switching and linear power supplies, instruments, and power amplifiers.

Vishay Dale WSR Series Power Metal Strip Resistors allow a tolerance of ± 0.5% and are available in very low inductance values ranging from 0.5nH to 5nH. The device's temperature coefficients are ±110ppm/°C for the 7.5mΩ to 9.9mΩ range and ±75ppm/°C for the 10mΩ to 300mΩ range. These resistors have low thermal EMF, and a broad operating temperature range from –65°C to +275°C, and resistance to moisture, vibration, thermal, and mechanical shock ensure reliable operation.
