Vishay VCNL Series Integrated Proximity & Ambient Light Sensors
Vishay VCNL Series Integrated Proximity and Ambient Light Sensors are fully integrated with an infrared emitter and photodetector for proximity, an ambient light sensor, a signal processing IC, and I2C communication interface. With full 16-bit resolution for both the proximity and ambient features, user-defined interrupt levels, and multiple packaging options, the VCNL portfolio will fulfill application requirements in mobile devices, computing devices, automotive, and industrial devices.

- 100Hz and 120Hz flicker noise rejection
- Built-in ambient light PIN photodiode with close-to-human eye sensitivity characteristic

- Includes driver for an external emitter for increased range
- Programmable LED drive current from 10mA to 200mA in 10mA steps
- Programmable measurement rate from 1Hz to 250Hz
