Vishay Transmissive Optical Sensors
Vishay Transmissive Optical Sensors come in both leaded and surface mount packaging options. Transmissive sensors with surface mount packaging are compact, located face-to-face, have an infrared emitter and one or more phototransistor detectors, and are designed to withstand high operating temperature requirements. The transmissive sensors with leaded packaging include an infrared emitter and phototransistor, located face-to-face on the optical axes that block visible light. These transmissive optical sensors are AEC-Q101 qualified and compliant with RoHS directive 2002/95/EC in accordance with WEEE 2002/96/EC. Typical applications include shaft encoders, optical switches, photo interrupters, and automotive optical sensors.
