Vishay Reflective Optical Sensors

Vishay Reflective Optical Sensors with Transistor Output are available in leaded and SMD packages in various dimensions. The leaded versions include an infrared emitter and phototransistor, which block visible light. The SMD versions have a light source emitter and a detector arranged in the same plane. Emitter wavelengths are available at 940 nm or 950 nm. These products are AEC-Q101 qualified. Typical applications include detection of reflective material such as paper, IBM cards and magnetic tapes, optical switches, and encoders.
