Vishay NTCASCWE3 Series NTC Thermistors are constructed from NTC ceramic material reflow soldered between solid tinned copper or nickel leads. These screw-threaded thermistors are housed in passivated aluminum casings for secure mounting and are UL recognized for safety. The NTCASCWE3 series offers resistance values from 1kΩ to 470kΩ at 25°C with a thermal time constant of approximately 7.5 seconds. Typical applications include surface temperature measurement and control requiring good electrical insulation and effective thermal contact with the chassis.
