Vishay / Beyschlag PTS AT Series Temperature Dependent Platinum Thin Film Chip Resistors are designed for temperature control in electronics exposed to varying environmental conditions. The PTS AT resistors employ a controlled platinum thin film manufacturing process that ensures stable temperature characteristics and reliable performance, even in harsh environments. These resistors meet AEC-Q200 qualifications and IEC 60751 standards, offering robust temperature cycling and short reaction times. Typical applications include automotive, aviation, and industrial electronics.

“Superior” and “outstanding” are words you might hear when describing a singer that’s achieved platinum status on their latest album or hit single. It’s not a coincidence that those same words are used to describe Vishay’s PTS AT series of automotive qualified platinum thin film temperature sensors. The platinum thin film provides a nearly linear TCR, outstanding long-term stability, and thermal cycling stability superior to competing RTDs.
The low mass of the platinum thin film also results in a fast thermal response time. Vishay’s PTS AT series is AEC-Q200 qualified and has a negative -55°C to +175°C temperature range. The temperature sensors are offered in case sizes from 0603 to 1206 with initial resistance values of 100Ω, 500Ω and 1000Ω, and with F0.3 and F0.6 tolerance classes.
