Vishay THJP Series ThermaWick Thermal Jumper Surface-Mount Chips provide an electrically isolated, thermally conductive pathway to a ground plane or heat sink, ensuring device isolation. These jumper chips are constructed with high-conductivity aluminum nitride substrates. The THJP chips feature SnPb and Pb-free wraparound termination options. These chips are AEC-Q200-qualified and feature low capacitance, making them suitable for high-frequency and thermal ladder requirements. Typical applications include synthesizers, filters, and RF amplifiers.

Moisture wicking fabrics keep us cool and comfortable. Don’t your electronics deserve something similar? Vishay’s ThermaWick THJP series surface-mount thermal jumper chips are an electrically isolated thermal conductor that can be used to conduct heat into a ground plane or heat sink, keeping your components cool and comfortably within their operating range.
The THJP series can reduce the temperature of connected components by up to 25% and protect adjacent components from exposure to large thermal loads. This allows designers to increase the power handling capability of a device or extend its useful life. The THJP series is based on an aluminum nitride substrate with high thermal conductivity and low capacitance, making it an ideal thermal solution for high frequency and thermal ladder applications. ThermaWick THJP series thermal jumpers are available in case sizes from 0603 to 2512, with long-side terminations on 0612 and 1225 cases for improved thermal performance.
