The 2.7V electrical double-layer capacitors, a type of supercapacitor, are available from 20F to 60F in small cases, with sizes from 16mm x 20mm to 18mm x 40mm . Low internal resistance allows for rapid charge and discharge, with a rated cycle life greater than 500000cycles. The 225 EDLC-R ENYCAP series delivers the density, ruggedness, and performance to be used in power backup, burst power, energy harvesting, micro UPS power sources, and energy recovery applications. AEC-Q200 qualified devices are also available for automotive applications.
