Vishay TNPW e3 Flat Chip Resistors are designed for use in various fields where high reliability and stability are essential. These resistors offer good moisture resistance and handling conditions at 85°C and 85% relative humidity. The TNPW e3 resistors maintain stability with a deviation of ≤0.05% after 1000 hours at rated power and 70°C. The resistors meet AEC-Q200 standards and are optionally available with a single lot date code. These resistors have advanced sulfur resistance as verified by ASTM B 809 testing and are suitable for automotive, industrial, test and measurement, and medical equipment applications.

If Vishay's WSHM 2818 Power Metal Strip Resistors were people, I think they'd be the type that'd want to spend the night clubbing, because they're designed to handle more high-power pulses than all the EDM your DJ can play in a weekend. The WSHM 2818 design features an all-welded construction ideal for pulse applications, voltage division, and current sensing. The design incorporates improved thermal management that enables high power density and reduces measurement error, while also offering very low inductance. The resistors can handle 7 watts in a 2818K size, and Vishay's proprietary processing enables resistance values down to 1 milliohm and tolerance down to plus or minus 0.5%. Vishay WSHM 2818 Power Metal Strip Resistors are AEC-Q200 qualified and are unaffected by high sulfur environments.
