Vishay GMF05 ESD Protection Diodes can protect up-to five signal- or data-lines against voltage transients. These products consist of pin 2 connected to ground and pin 1; pin 3 up to pin 6 connected to a signal or data line, which has to be protected. GMF05 ESD protection diodes are RoHS compliant, halogen-free, and Pb-free. This diode behaves like an open switch. Typical applications include simplifying board layouts, protecting electronic equipment and circuits, and industrial applications.
