Vishay VLMT3100 series is a low current SMD LEDs housed in a PLCC-2 package. The LED features a lead frame embedded in a white thermoplastic with a clear epoxy reflector. These LEDs have a ±60° half-intensity angle and operates with very low power consumption. This LED is compatible with automatic placement equipment and various soldering processes, including infrared, vapor phase, and wave soldering. The LED is supplied on an 8mm tape and has a non-diffused lens, making it suitable for light pipes and backlighting applications. The VLMT LED is designed for use in telecommunications, audio and video equipment, battery-driven devices, office equipment, and LCD backlighting.
