Vishay BC Components 138 AML Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors are polarized devices using a non-solid electrolyte in axial leaded configurations with cylindrical aluminum cases. Cases are insulated with a blue sleeve or molded with flame-retardant plastic. These resistors are available in diameters from 6.3mm to 21mm and lengths from 12.7mm to 38mm, with capacitance values from 2.2µF to 15,000µF and rated voltages from 6.3V to 100V. Typical applications include smoothing, filtering, and buffering in switch-mode power supplies, as well as coupling in industrial, automotive, and telecommunication equipment.
