TE Sensor Solutions FX29 Force Compression Load Cells feature Microfused technology that provides good span and zero stability, outstanding cycle life, and superior resolution. The FX29 compression load cells offer high over-range capabilities and an unamplified span sensitivity of 20mV/V. These load cells utilize a combination of metal injection-molded flexure and microminiaturized MEMS strain gauges that allow flexibility in force range options for a lower-cost sensor.
The FX29 force compression load cells come with mV, amplified, and digital output options that enable design flexibility with greater system accuracy. These load cells operate at a maximum current rating of 3mA and an insulation resistance of 50MΩ at 250VDC. Typical applications include analog and digital scales, battery-powered devices, manufacturing equipment, and robotics.

The FX29 is available with ranges from 50N to 1000N and high over-range capabilities. They can operate from 1V to 6V and consume just 3mA of current, making them highly adaptable for any application. The sensors offer a ratiometric millivolt or amplified analog output or an optional I2C digital bus, which makes reading data far easier.
