TE Connectivity Mini BETACURVE Thermistor Probes (MBD) are NTC temperature sensors with fast time response and a small tip diameter. These probes are available with various lead lengths. The NTC thermistor is soldered to a 30AWG solid silver-plated copper wire with PVDF insulation. The unit is potted in a polyimide tube with thermally conductive black epoxy. These devices offer a rapid time constant of 400 milliseconds in liquids and an operating temperature range from -40ºC to +125ºC. The MDB NTC temperature sensors find use in temperature sensing, small medical probes, and micro-flow sensing.
