TE Connectivity MTA-100 Series Connectors
TE Connectivity MTA-100 Series Connectors are wire-to-board and wire-to-wire connectors that support the mass termination of wires, allowing for less labor-intensive assembly. These stackable devices use Insulation Displacement Contacts (IDC), enabling wire termination without stripping or crimping. The MTA-100 connector system is mass terminated using IDC on 0.100” centerlines and mates with 0.025” square posts. These connectors offer discrete and ribbon cable wire sizes ranging from 22AWG to 28AWG with a minimum initial insulation resistance of 5000MΩ. The MTA-100 series feature phosphor bronze contacts, and the housing material use flame-retardant thermoplastic which is either UL94V-2 or UL94V-0 rated. These connectors are used for applications such as healthcare, appliances, lighting, and industrial controls.
