TE Connectivity ELCON Micro Wire-to-Board Power Connectors and Cable Assemblies are compactly designed, easy to upgrade, and reliable power solutions that can provide a high current density of up to 12.5A per pin in a common industry footprint of 3.0mm. These connectors and cable assemblies are easy to assemble with virtually foolproof mating features, and their PCB footprint is compatible with other suppliers. The ELCON Micro system support 2 to 24-pin configurations and different currents with multiple combinations of different wire sizes. Housing in these power solutions is made up of thermoplastic, UL 94-V0 material, and can perform reliably in harsh environments with a maximum operating temperature of 105°C. The 5mΩ low contact resistance provides a lower temperature rise and lower power loss. TE Connectivity ELCON Micro power connectors and cable assemblies are used in servers, switch/routers, power supply distribution, Business Retail Equipment (BRE), and patient monitors.
