The saying goes you're only as strong as your weakest link, or connector, if we're talking telecommunications. Spectrum Control's 700 series of high-performance filtered D-subminiature connectors are constructed out of a die-cast zinc shell that has ceramic capacitors soldered inside the housing. This design offers a high level of EMI integrity with substantial mating durability that far exceeds that of typical stamped metal shells. The product is available in standard density shell sizes from 9 to 50 pin count or high-density pin counts of 15 to 78 pin count. All are available in both feed-through capacitive and Pi configurations. A variety of terminations are available, including right-angle and straight PCB. These filtered connectors are available in a number of operating voltages and are tested to meet dielectric withstand voltages, ensuring their durability in cellular, base station, secured communication, medical electronics, and aerospace applications.
