Smiths Interconnect N Series Rack and Panel Connectors

Smiths Interconnect / Molex N Series Rack and Panel Connectors use Hypertac hyperboloid contact technology to provide high cycle life, low insertion/extraction forces, immunity to shock and vibration. The N rack and panel connectors are composed of two elements modules and frames. The modules of various styles and contact types, including signal and coaxial, can be combined into custom arrangements within a single connector frame. The frames that hold the modules in position range from basic, only consisting of two side rails and end caps, to more complex, including jackscrews, hoods, and cable clamps. These rack and panel connectors offer high current ratings and low contact resistance. Typical applications include aerospace, automation, burn-in stands, measurement instruments, medical equipment, security systems, and telecommunications.
