Sensata PTE Family Hermetic Pressure Sensors
Sensata PTE Family Hermetic Pressure Sensors consist of the PTE7100, PTE7300, and PTE7500 series. The PTE7100 is an analog output sensor, the PTE7300 is a digital I2C sensor, and the PTE7500 is a CANopen output pressure sensor. These are high-accuracy, high-vibration resistance sensors that are RoHS, REACH, UKCA, and CE compliant. These sensors offer pressure ranges from 0 to 10 bar to 0 to 600 bar and an operating temperature range from -40°C to +125°C. Typical applications include air conditioning and refrigeration systems and hydraulics and pneumatics.

The phrase “jack of all trades” may be followed by “master of none," but that isn’t the case with the PTE7300 series of hermetic digital pressure and temperature sensors by Sensata. These combined pressure and temperature sensors provide a measuring range from 0 to 600 bar with a total error band of ±1.5 percent and a temperature measurement range from -40°C to +125°C with accuracy of ±8°.
Hermetically sealed versions are available with an IP69K rating to ensure they can operate in some of the most demanding environments, while the stainless-steel construction is compliant with drinking water certifications.
With an operating voltage range of 2.7V to 5.5V, the PTE7300 range of combined temperature and pressure sensors are compatible with most standard microprocessor platforms. The sensors provide a fast response, are offered in 12 or 15 bit configurations and provide data over an I2C bus.
