Rohm Semiconductor KX1 Series Tri-Axis Accelerometers
Rohm Semiconductors Kionix KX1 Series Tri-Axis Accelerometers are crafted through the utilization of the company's exclusive plasma micromachining process technology. These accelerometers undergo hermetic sealing at the wafer level, achieved by bonding a second silicon lid wafer to the device using a glass frit. Housed in a compact LGA plastic package, they function within a DC supply voltage range of 1.710V to 3.6V.
KX1 Tri-Axis accelerometers from Kionix feature an additional ASIC device that is integrated into the package with the sensing element, providing signal conditioning, digital communications, and the capability for intelligent user-programmable application algorithms. These accelerometers are equipped with voltage regulators that ensure a consistent internal operating voltage across varying input supply voltages that enable it to maintain stable characteristics and virtually eliminate detectable ratiometric errors.
