Phoenix Contact Twin Design Print Terminal (TDPT) Blocks

Phoenix Contact TDPT Blocks offer design flexibility and provides an option to choose between two termination technologies, screw or spring, while maintaining the same footprint. TDPT terminal blocks provide simple switching between termination methods without requiring modifications to the Printed Circuit Board (PCB) or enclosure as both connectors have the same dimensions and footprint. Typical applications include industrial automation, telecommunications, and process control.

Features

  • Available product ranges: TDPT 2,5 (5.08mm pitch), TDPT 4 (6.35mm pitch), and TDPT 16 (10.16mm pitch)
  • Offers flexible design options
  • Provides two termination choices with identical footprint and dimensions

Applications

  • Industrial automation
  • Process control
  • Telecommunications
  • Test and measurement

Springs or screws? Screws or springs? Of course, I’m referring to terminal blocks, and instead of choosing, you can have both with Phoenix Contact’s Twin Design Print Terminal Blocks. That’s because these terminal blocks are available with identical sizing, pinning, and PCB footprint with push-in spring connections or screw connections.

Now you can offer both termination styles without changing your PCB layout or your enclosure, easily adapting to traditional screw connections or vibration-proof push-in spring terminations. The TDPT family can be used in many applications as it can handle wire ranges from 24AWG to 6AWG, with ratings up to 58A and 600V UL. Terminal blocks are offered with 2 to 12 positions and pitches from 5.08mm to 10.16mm.
