Omron G2RG and G2RG-X PCB Power Relays

When it comes to product names, we like to add X. Maybe it’s extra, or extreme, or exciting. Omron’s G2RG-X PCB power relays are all of those things if you’re an engineer. The DPST relay can be wired with its two poles in series to achieve a 500Vdc 10A switching capacity with a 3mm contact gap, making it suitable for energy storage systems, EV chargers, and other high voltage equipment. The G2RG-X has a permanent magnet mounted near the contact point to extend the arc for stable interruption while maintaining a compact 13.5mm by 29mm footprint and to help minimize PCB area. The relays are offered with 12Vdc or 24Vdc coils. They offer 8mm of creepage and clearance, can withstand a 10kV impulse between coil and contacts, and are UL and TUV certified.
