Omron D2GW Series Basic Switches
Omron D2GW Sealed Ultra-Subminiature Basic Switches come with double-sided twin sliding contacts that provide high performance due to high contract reliability and foreign material being cleaned out by the sliding contact mechanism. The D2GW series basic switches are available at 8.3mm x 6.5mm x 5.3mm dimensions, and operate at 13.5VDC rated voltage and 10mA resistive load current. The D2GW sealed ultra-subminiature offers press-fit terminals that enable solder-less contact, and micro-load support thanks to high contact reliability and sliding structure that delivers quiet operation. Typical applications include EV charging stations, electronic locks, security devices, and home appliances.

But the small size of the D2GW range of switches from Omron will leave you impressed when integrating them into your next project. The maximum operating voltage of the D2GW is 13.5 volts DC with a resistive load of 10 milliamps, and a maximum terminal resistance of 700mΩ. The D2GW range of switches is resistant to vibrations between 10 and 55 hertz with a vibration amplitude of 1.5 millimeters, has a minimum lifecycle of 200,000 mechanical and electrical operations, and can withstand shocks up to 300 meters per second squared before facing mechanical malfunction. The use of press-fit terminals allows for the D2GQ to be used without soldering which eases installation, and the operating temperature range of minus 40 to 85 degrees Celsius allows for use in most applications and environments.
