Nexperia Silicon Germanium (SiGe) Rectifiers integrate the high efficiency of schottky rectifiers and the thermal stability of quick recovery diodes. The SiGe rectifiers provide ample amount of room to optimize the design towards higher efficiency due to their very low leakage rate, which permits a longer safe operating range of up to 175°C without thermal runaway. AEC-Q101-qualified SiGe rectifiers feature extremely low leakage current of <1nA. Typical applications include LED lighting, engine control units, and infrastructure.

Nexperia SiGe Rectifiers are the life of the party when the electronics design limbo starts. They can get low while staying smooth. That is to say that they have a low forward voltage, reverse recovery charge, and an extremely low leakage current. Couple that with low parasitic capacitance that allows for fast and smooth switching for minimal EMC impact and you can see why Nexperia’s SiGe rectifiers are ideal for designers looking to improve efficiency and simplify thermal design.
They can carry up to 3A and block reverse voltages up to 120V. They’re also AEC-Q101 compliant, making them ideal for high-efficiency power conversions in applications such as automotive LED lighting and ECUs as well as server and base station power supplies. Nexperia SiGe is a rectifier housed in space-saving and rugged CFP3 and CFP5 packages, providing thermal stability at junction temperatures up to 175°C.
