Nexperia I2C General Purpose I/O Expanders
Nexperia I2C General Purpose I/O (GPIO) Expanders provide excellent performance in pin-to-pin compatible packages with industry-standard footprints. The I2C GPIO expanders have the ability to support multiple nodes, which increases system flexibility. I2C GPIO expanders feature Schmitt-Trigger action that allows slow input transition and better-switching noise immunity at the Serial Clock Line (SCL) and Serial Data Line (SDA) inputs. The single-supply GPIO expanders support operating power supply voltage range from 1.65V to 5.5V. These GPIO expanders offer serial to parallel (SDA to P0-P16) and parallel to serial (P0-P16) conversion with I²C protocol. Typical applications include battery-powered, surveillance cameras, telecom equipment, servers, and routers.
