I have a garden and in peak season I can go out my back door and harvest all kinds of fresh fruits and vegetables.  Harvesting energy is almost that easy if you’re using Nexperia’s NEH2000BY high performance energy harvesting power management IC. This energy harvesting PMIC is ideal for applications utilizing small solar cells, with a harvesting power range from 35 microwatts to 2 milliwatts, and the use of MPPT ensures you’re extracting the maximum amount of power from those solar cells in different lighting conditions. The short 0.7 second MPPT interval allows the NEH2000BY to quicky react to changes in sunlight, while the lack of an external inductor and minimal BOM significantly reduces circuit complexity. Compatible with various rechargeable batteries, the NEH2000BY is excellent for IoT devices, remote controls, wearable devices, and beacons.
