Knowles Capacitors E01 and E07 Feedthrough Capacitors
Knowles Syfer E01 and E07 Feedthrough Capacitors are surface-mount EMI filters with chip 'C' filters. These are 3-terminal chip devices designed to have less inductance than traditional MLCCs for signal line filtering. The filtered signal is routed through the chip's internal electrodes, while the noise is filtered to the grounded side contacts, resulting in shorter noise transmission routes. EMI is the enemy of virtually every circuit, and Knowles Syfer E01 and E07 surface mount EMI filters are the enemy of EMI. Since the enemy of my enemy is my friend, I’m good friends with these filters. The Knowles Syfer E01 and E07 ranges of EMI capacitors are three-terminal capacitors that combine a traditional two pin multilayer ceramic material with a third grounded terminal that wraps around the electrolytic material, with C0G and X7R dielectrics available. This third terminal provides the shortest path possible to ground to filter noise from the signal lines. With a maximum operating current range from 300mA to 3A, maximum operating voltage range from 25VDC to 200VDC, and capacitance range from 10pF to 1.8μF, these capacitors come in plenty of variations for all applications. Furthermore, the Knowles Syfer E01 and E07 capacitors include AEC-Q200 qualified options for use in the automotive industry.
