Knowles Capacitors X2Y Surface Mount EMI Filters

Syfer / Knowles Capacitors X2Y Surface Mount EMI Filters are 3-terminal EMI chips designed to provide simultaneous line-to-line and line-to-ground filtering using a single ceramic chip. The X2Y EMI filters feature very low inductance and operates at a temperature range from -55°C to +125°C. These EMI filters offer differential mode and common mode attenuation and negate the effects of temperature, voltage, and aging. Syfer / Knowles Capacitors X2Y Surface Mount EMI filters come in chip sizes from 0805 to 1812 and are extremely helpful in fulfilling strict EMC requirements. Typically, X2Y EMI filters are used in automotive, audio amplifiers, CANBUS, sensors, balanced and unbalanced lines, twisted pairs, and DC motors.
