Honeywell VM721V1 Anisotropic Magnetoresistive (AMR) 2-pin Speed Sensor Integrated Circuit (IC) is designed for detecting the rotational speed of ring magnet encoder targets. It offers stable performance across various speeds, temperatures, and air gaps, and its design minimizes sensitivity to mechanical vibrations and sudden air gap changes. The sensor's output is independent of magnet pole size, ensuring compatibility with different ring magnets. The VM721V1 sensor includes an integrated capacitor for EMC protection and meets automotive standards such as ISO 26262 and AEC-Q100-H.
