Harwin Datamate High Power Contacts
Harwin Datamate High Power Contacts are designed for high-current electrical connections in compact, high-density electronic equipment. These contacts are part of the Datamate M80 series and support reliable board-to-board, cable-to-board, and cable-to-cable interconnections. The Datamate power contacts are available with current ratings of up to 40A, with a maximum working voltage of 800Vac/dc peak. Typical applications include aircraft flap actuators, aircraft wiper motor control, industrial machine control, and avionics rotary.

Did you ever play sardines as a kid? One person hides, then when another player finds them, they all cram into as small a space as possible to stay hidden from the rest of the players. Harwin has been playing Sardines with connectors, with the result being the Datamate High Power Contacts. These contacts are rated for 40A nominal and 80A max currents,
allowing for maximum power in a compact and lightweight connector housing.
They’re meant for use in extreme environments with exposure to high vibration, shock, and temperatures, and the contacts have 30 micro-inches of gold plating for increased durability. Stainless steel jackscrew hardware provides strain relief and ensures a strong connection. Their rugged and durable performance makes them ideal for use in aircraft flap actuators, avionics rotary and linear actuators, and other aerospace and industrial applications.
