Harwin Gecko-MT 1.25mm Mixed Layout Connectors

Harwin Gecko-MT 1.25mm Pitch Mixed Layout Connectors integrate the 1.25mm pitch Gecko signal connector system with mixed technology configurations, incorporating 10A power contacts into the lineup. The Gecko-MT 1.25mm pitch connectors are the lightest and smallest mixed layout connectors available for high-performance applications. These Gecko-MT mixed layout connectors come in cable-to-board, board-to-board, and cable-to-cable options, pin-layouts include 1+8+1 or 2+8+2 contact configurations. The Gecko-MT connectors feature an operating temperature range from -65°C to +150°C. Typical applications include aviation, defense and security, motorsport and electric vehicles, and space.

Do you want to cut size and weight while adding power. This might sound like the lead-in to an ad for the latest workout supplement, but I’m talking about Harwin’s Gecko-MT series connectors. The Gecko-MT series adds power contacts to the popular Gecko-SL series, and the mixed layout lets you reduce the size and weight of your design. Gecko-MT is available in a variety of configurations with 8 signal contacts and 2 or 4 power contacts, with power contacts rated for 10A and signal for 2A of current.

The connectors are compact, with a 1.25mm signal pin pitch, and they have a lightweight plastic housing. They also feature stainless steel screw-lok fixings and Harwin’s patented 4-finger contact design, delivering 20G vibration and 100G shock tolerance to ensure interconnect integrity. Harwin’s Gecko-MT series can be used at temperatures from -65°C to +150°C, and their combination of size, weight, power, and rugged performance make them ideal for aviation, space, EVs, and other applications.
