Harwin Datamate T-Contact 2mm Pitch Connectors are designed to enhance current-carrying capacity, supporting up to 8.5A compared to the standard 3A. These female power contacts feature a resilient six-finger construction, providing resistance to shock (100G) and vibration (40G for six hours across multiple axes). The crimp barrels accommodate 22AWG wire and meet IPC-A-620 cable harnessing standards. These T-Contact connectors are built from beryllium copper with 30µ" to 40µ" gold plating ensure long-term performance in harsh environments. The T-Contact connectors offers up to 1000 mating cycles, operates within temperature range from -55°C to +125°C, and provides 60% more contact wipe, enhancing self-cleaning and reducing surface contamination risks.

Solid: it’s a word associated with strength and power, and that’s exactly what you get from Harwin’s Datamate T-contact. The T-contact is made from a single, solid piece of beryllium copper, providing additional metal mass to handle up to 8.5A in the 2mm pitch Datamate interconnect system. That’s a significant improvement over the 3.3A rating of the standard signal contact, and helps designers meet power requirements with ever-tightening space constraints.
The T-contact also uses a 6-finger design that increase surface contact and surface wipe area for improved contact reliability. In fact, the T-contact can withstand 40g vibrations for 6 hours and 100g shocks, making it perfect for the mechanical stresses of military, aerospace, oil and gas, robotics, and other rugged applications. The contacts are also incredibly durable, with a 30µ" to 40µ" gold finish rated for 1000 mating cycles.
