Harwin Datamate Metal Backshells are constructed from aluminum alloy with electroless nickel plating, providing protection against electromagnetic and radio frequency interference. These backshells are designed for use with J-Tek and Mix-Tek connectors and offer an RF attenuation rating of >30dBs across a 10kHz to 400MHz range. The female backshells have an elliptical cable-entry port that accommodates signal, power, and coaxial cables. The Datamate backshells are available in vertical and horizontal male PCB-mount and panel-mount configurations, compatible with both through-board and SMT terminations.
