Carling Technologies Hydraulic-Magnetic Circuit Breakers

Carling Technologies Hydraulic-Magnetic Circuit Breakers offer a trip-free mechanism and safety features, which makes it impossible to manually hold the contacts closed during overcurrent or faulty conditions. The hydraulic-magnetic circuit breakers come with a variety of circuit options and actuator options, making the design flexible and according to contemporary panel style. These circuit breakers can operate within the temperature range of -40°C to +85°C, offering current ratings up to 700A and rated voltages up to 600VAC. Carling Technologies hydraulic-magnetic circuit breakers with a minimum endurance of 6000 operations are applicable in industrial automation, packaging systems, process control systems, lamps, ballasts, storage batteries, vending machines, and switching power supplies.

Hydraulics are cool. Magnetics are arguably even cooler.  Put them together and you get something so cool you might feel like you hit 0K.  That’s how it feels when you start using Hydraulic Magnetic Circuit Breakers range from Carling Technologies, a Littelfuse brand. The hydraulic magnetic design makes it physically impossible to hold the contacts closed during fault conditions, keeping connected equipment safe.  With current ratings up to 700A and voltage ratings up to 600V AC, the Carling Technologies Hydraulic Magnetic Circuit Breakers are suitable for numerous applications including computer systems, generators, industrial machinery, vending machines alternative energy, battery disconnect systems, commercial food, control panels, datacom/Telecom, generators, industrial automation, industrial controls, higher amperage applications, lighting, marine, medical equipment, military, power supplies, railway, and transportation. The use of a common trip linkage also ensures that all poles trip if one detects a fault, and the use of a 35mm DIN rail fitting on select breakers makes installation simple.
