Amphenol PCD Gladiator Low-Profile Self-Aligning Connectors
Amphenol PCD Gladiator Low-Profile Self-Aligning Connectors feature a rolling latch that helps the connector in preventing accidental de-mating and spring pins (spring probes) maintain contact through shock and vibration. These self-aligning connectors come with a fluorosilicone silicone gasket interfacial seal that helps in aligning the plugs and contacts to the receptacle. The Gladiator connectors can operate within the temperature range from +65°C to +125°C with an insulation resistance of 5000MΩ. These Gladiator low-profile self-aligning connectors with durability of a 2000 mating cycles are used for soldier-worn applications, including data sharing, battery charging, and peripheral connectivity.

These aren’t your typical Roman Colosseum Gladiators we’re talking about, but the low-profile self-aligning Connectors designed for today’s combat soldier. Built for rugged environments up to 95% humidity, these connectors include a rolling latch for preventing unwanted de-mating. Fast unguided connection is provided with magnetic mating along with an added fluorosilicone gasket seal to align the plugs and contacts to the receptacle. Power and ground pogo pins ensure uninterrupted continuous current and added spring pins provide additional reliable contact during any shock or vibration encounter to meet shock and vibration requirements in MIL standard 883. The Gladiator low-profile self-aligning connectors also include options for flat and round cabled or self termination and come with USB 2.0 data up to 90Ω impedance.
