Amphenol Amphe-Lite connectors are a commercial 38999 series III type connector with a durable, corrosion-resistant, and lightweight composite shell that provides high performance in severe environments while remaining cost-effective enough for general-purpose use. Conductive and non-conductive options are available, with the conductive versions featuring electroless nickel plating and spring grounding rings to provide excellent EMI shielding and grounding.
The connectors feature Acme threads that completely mate in one 360° turn of the coupling nut for fast installation, and they’re designed to prevent cross coupling. They also provide high shock resistance and a high decoupling option is available for high vibration applications. The Amphe-Lite series is extremely versatile, with up to 128 contacts and options for signal, power, RF, and fiber terminations. The connectors are scoop-proof and have interfacial seals to prevent contact corrosion.
