The RLR Series has an epoxy coated construction, providing superior moisture protection. Best utilized in electronic circuits where semi-precision characteristics are required, these resistors are unique, able to operate satisfactorily in military systems that have passed tests as described in MIL-STD-202.
The Vishay Dale RLR Series is available in four case sizes: RLR05 (1/8w), RLR07 (1/4w), RLR20 (1/2w) and RLR32 (1w). These resistors are capable of full load operation at an ambient temperature of 70°C and have a resistance characteristic of 100ppm. Life failure rates (M, P, R and S) range from 1 percent to .001 percent per 1000 hours. Values will range from 1 ohm to 10M depending on the case size and are available with a tolerance of 1 or 2 percent. The RLR Series is offered as bulk or tape and reel. Vishay Dale also offers DSCC drawings for this product up to 22M.
